1. THE PLAYER’S OBLIGATIONS
1.1 The player agrees to undertake the following:
a) Attend all training sessions as required by the Academy and participate to the best of his ability;
b) To not take any illegal substance during the course of his stay at the Academy;
c) Join the club that the Academy assigns the Player to and undertake training and playing to the best of his ability;
d) Make payment to Inside Running Academy as per clause 3 of this agreement; and
e) Sign the Inside Running Academy code of conduct and Academy Accommodation Contract upon arrival at the Academy and adhere to the terms and conditions of such code.

2. THE ACADEMY’S OBLIGATIONS
2.1 The Academy will provide the following to the Player throughout the Term:
a) Specialist coaching from Inside Running Academy coaches and strength and conditioning trainers;
b) Specialist gym training programme and gym membership at THE ATHLETE FACTORY;
c) Accommodation provided for the Player for the Term. This will be provided on a share-twin basis and will include breakfast and lunch meals on a self-catered basis;
d) Sports Supplements as prescribed by the head trainer;
e) Free physiotherapy treatment provided by Foundation Sports and Rehabilitation Clinic, Tauranga;
f) Seminars relating to specialist rugby topics;
g) Training apparel pack including shorts, training shirts and singlet; and
h) Club subscriptions paid on behalf of the Player.

3. PAYMENT
3.1. A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking.
3.2 Full payment of the balance of academy fees is required no less than 10 days in advance of your arrival at the academy.

4. TERMINATION
4.1 The Academy may terminate this agreement effective immediately in the event of:
a) The Player being found guilty by a New Zealand court of law of any criminal offence punishable by imprisonment;
b) The Player being found guilty of any breach of anti-doping regulations; and iii. The Player being suspended from the Academy due to continual breaches of the Academy code of conduct.
4.2 In the event of termination under clause 4.1 of this agreement any course fees paid would not be refundable.
4.3 The Player may terminate this agreement providing 10 days written notice in the event of:
a) The Player having to return home due to a serious illness or death of a close family member. In this instance any prepaid course fees paid beyond the date of the Players departure would be refunded to the Player; or
b) The Player being of the view that the Academy is in material breach of this agreement and its obligations. In which instance the Player must provide the Academy with the opportunity to rectify any issues. In this instance any prepaid course fees paid beyond the date of the Players departure would be refundable to the Player.
c) The Player sustaining a long-term injury or illness that means that the Player cannot participate in the Academy programme. Long-term is defined as any injury or illness that results in a 6 week lay-off from the Academy programme. In this instance any prepaid course fees paid beyond the date of the Players departure would be refundable to the Player.
d) If the Player is injured in advance of arrival at the Academy and cannot attend, a full refund is provided provided that 10 days written notice is provided to the Academy. In the event that 10 days written notice is not provided the player would forego their 20% deposit which reflects that the academy incurs some fixed costs that it would not be able to recover when a player cancels near their arrival date.
